Calop Freight CEO Joins EK’s Team
In a remarkable display of commitment to charitable causes and physical endurance, Calop Freight’s CEO, Luis Fernando Caicedo, is set to lace up his running shoes for the Miami Marathon 2024. This year, he will be an integral part of the EK’s Team, a group comprising 19 dedicated runners from 11 different countries, all geared up for the Miami Marathon 2024 on January 28th.
Reflecting on the journey since their inaugural marathon in 2021, EK’s Team, has continuously evolved and grown stronger. The team is now gearing up for their third consecutive annual race, scheduled for January 28th, 2024.
With pride and excitement, the team recently achieved a major milestone by surpassing their initial fundraising goal of $3,500. Undeterred by their success, they have set a new target of $4,000 to maximize their impact on the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
United for a Cause
Luis Fernando Caicedo expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “We couldn’t be prouder of EK and the entire team. This diverse group of 19 runners, representing 11 countries, truly embodies the spirit of unity and determination. It’s amazing to witness the positive impact we can create when we come together for a common cause.”
The funds raised by EK’s Team will go towards supporting the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with cerebral palsy and their families through research, education, and advocacy.
